1. Who we are

Salus ("we", "us", "our") is a wellness companion service operated via WhatsApp, based in Dubai, UAE. You can contact us at hello@mysalus.co.

2. What data we collect

When you use Salus we collect:

• Your WhatsApp phone number
• Your name (provided during onboarding)
• Your wellness goals, wake time and preferences
• Your reminder schedules and activity completions
• Your conversation history with Salus
• Points, streaks and progress data

3. How we use your data

We use your data solely to:

• Deliver personalized wellness reminders and check-ins
• Track your streaks, points and progress
• Send weekly wellness reports
• Process payments for Premium subscriptions
• Improve the Salus service

We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.

4. Data storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) servers. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Our servers are located in the United States.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Data portability

To exercise any of these rights, message Salus "delete my data" or contact us at hello@mysalus.co.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as you are an active user. If you stop using Salus for 12 months your data is automatically deleted. You can request immediate deletion at any time.

7. Third party services

Salus uses the following third party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Twilio — WhatsApp message delivery
• Anthropic Claude — AI responses
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — email delivery
• Supabase — data storage

8. Cookies

Our website (mysalus.co) may use basic analytics cookies to understand visitor behavior. The Salus WhatsApp service does not use cookies.

9. Children

Salus is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. UAE and GDPR compliance

We comply with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and, for European users, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify you via WhatsApp of any significant changes. Continued use of Salus after changes constitutes acceptance.
