1. Acceptance

By using Salus you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. By continuing to use Salus after any updates to these terms, you accept the revised terms.

2. What Salus is

Salus is a wellness companion that sends reminders, tracks habits and provides motivational support via WhatsApp.

3. Health disclaimer

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for any health concerns. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately. Salus is a wellness tool only.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Salus. By using the service you confirm you meet this requirement.

5. Free and Premium tiers

• Free tier: up to 3 active reminders and basic check-ins
• Premium ($7.99/month): unlimited reminders, streak tracking, weekly reports and calendar invites
• Premium subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe
• You may cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
• No refunds for partial months unless required by applicable law

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information during onboarding
• Use Salus only for personal wellness purposes
• Not attempt to abuse, manipulate or reverse-engineer the AI
• Not use Salus for any illegal or harmful purpose
• Not share your account with others

7. Our responsibilities

We will:

• Make reasonable efforts to keep Salus available 24/7
• Protect your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy
• Notify you of significant changes to the service

We cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to third party dependencies including WhatsApp, Twilio and our cloud providers.

8. Intellectual property

All Salus branding, content and technology is our property. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of Salus without our written permission.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may stop using Salus at any time by messaging "stop" or "unsubscribe."

10. Limitation of liability

Salus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our maximum liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 30 days.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
